THIRD MONTH: JUST A BIT MORE CONFIDENT

I believe I’ve improved my English skills a lot but it doesn’t mean that I’m a good speaker yet. However, as I’m hardly exposed to the language I’ve felt that I’m better at guessing what

1. INTRODUCTION. LIFE IS LIKE AN STARTUP

To begin, I want to clarify that this blog entry is only about my experience learning English as a second language with the purpose to be fully prepared for professional purposes, to be enrolled in the startup world, specifically. That’s why you are going to find a very strong relationship between life and startups.

The reason why I write this Blog

This international experience has presented me with significant challenges, but I have identified two important issues to address. Firstly, I need to accelerate my English learning process. Secondly, I aim to deepen my self-awareness in order to better navigate personal challenges. According to my personal psychologist, I struggle with impatience and a tendency to rush through tasks, seeking immediate results. I recognize that I could derive more enjoyment from my journey by embracing and appreciating the process without fixating on the outcome. Therefore, engaging in writing tasks offers a dual benefit. Not only I can enhance my English composition skills, but I can also reflect on my international experience and the way I’m facing these challenges. Through this process, I want to improve my english skills while cultivating a more level-headed approach.

Furthermore, I know that many individuals are facing similar challenges or they probably will. Therefore, why not share my experiences to provide them with context for their own journeys?

Therefore, here you’ll find my English learning process and the monthly description about how to survive alone as an overseas student. Some topics I’m going to cover are:

  1. Has the English learning process been difficult? Why?

  2. How long does it take to learn a new language?

  3. What about my mental health?

  4. What’s the opinion of my personal psychologist?

  5. What I’ve experienced in my job and how I’ve managed to work even without speaking English in an advanced way.

  6. How I’ve dealt with frustration.

  7. You’ll find a lengthy writing WITHOUT corrections. One objective is to compare my English writing since the beginning. That’s why you’ll find a significant number of mistakes!! However, I hope I’ve improved over time.
